When 100% natural mattress fibre or mixed fibre and an amount of bristle fibre are twisted using a machine you get Machine Twisted Fibre (FMT / Feherer Machine Twisted Fibre)
It is manufactured with natural brow coir from coconut husks with right maturity. They come in 20 kg coils, 50kg coils or 100kg coils and in other weights according to customer needs.

Bio Substrate Sri Lanka adds its latest export destination Kenya, for cocopeat products with the support of Sri Lankan Embassy in Kenya.

  Following the Hon. Minister of Youth and Sports, Minister of Development Coordination and Monitoring, and State Minister of Digital Technology and Enterprise Development, Namal Rajapaksa, and a business delegation's visit to Kenya, the first two containers of coconut substrate products were flagged off today. The High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to Kenya, Excellency ,Velupillai Kananathan, and the Chairman of the coconut development authority, Mr. Keerthi Sri Weerasinghe, graced this occasion. Bio Substrate (Pvt) Ltd – Madampe, a 100% Sri Lankan own company, is the producer and exporter of the consignment. Mr. Upali Weerakoon, Managing Director of Bio Substrate, described this as a historic event, as it is likely the first time a Sri Lankan company exports Cocopeat to Kenya.
